Topic:  Special considerations for Rules of Professional Conduct, including:

  • Competency in new and emerging areas of law
  • Attorney’s duty to communicate
  • Responsibilities of partners, supervisory and managing lawyers
  • Confidentiality of information

Speaker:  Lori Worthington Hurl is the President of MAMA Seattle.  She practices civil litigation defense, with an emphasis on professional liability.  Lori has experience representing attorneys and accountants in malpractice claims, and is a member of the Washington State Bar Association Disciplinary Board.  Lori was recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine from 2013-2018 for her work in Professional Liability Defense.
